Partial closure of Marktstraße and access road behind the town hall

A section of Marktstraße in Kevelaer will be closed from March 3 to 6, 2025

Due to the renovation work on Peter-Plümpe-Platz in Kevelaer, the passage on Marktstraße between Roermonder Platz and the "temporary" entrance to the Peter-Plümpe-Platz parking lot will be closed from Monday, March 3, 2025, to Thursday, March 6, 2025. This means that access to the town hall via Marktstraße (rear street of Peter-Plümpe-Platz) will also be closed.

The parking lot at Peter-Plümpe-Platz can be reached from Twistedener Straße. Detour signs are in place for traffic.

Citizen buses adapt routes:

  • The "Markt/Altes Rathaus" stop is not served by the Winnekendonk community bus. The Wetten, Kervenheim and Twisteden lines only stop there when traveling out of town.
  • The stops "Biegstraße", "Berliner Straße" (Wetten public bus) and "Venloer Straße" (Winnekendonk public bus) are no longer available in the city center.
  • The "St.-Antonius-Kirche" stop is not served by any public bus route.
