Department 1.2 "Human Resources Management" deals with all matters relating to traditional HR work (personnel planning, development, recruitment, deployment, support and payroll accounting) and beyond (coordination of occupational health and safety, occupational health care, health management, etc.).
The broad range of tasks focuses on internal matters, but also extends to external issues such as job advertisements, training and internships.
A total of around 360 employees of various professions and legal statuses (tariff employees, civil servants, trainees, etc.) are managed and supervised.
Due to the variety of tasks, the work is characterized by the application and implementation of various legal norms (e.g. in employment law, collective bargaining law, social security law, staff representation law, civil service law) and case law decisions. Cooperation with other organizational units (e.g. in the areas of staffing, training, references) as well as with the staff council, equal opportunities officer, representatives for severely disabled employees, youth and trainee representatives is also fundamental.
