It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our longtime employee and colleague Reinhold Hentemann, who passed away on July 30 at the age of 79.
Reinhold Hentemann, whom everyone called Henti, began working for the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer on August 16, 1976. He worked as a custodian for the two- and three-court gyms at the school complex and was also responsible for maintaining the Hülspark Stadium and the outdoor areas. Until his retirement on August 31, 2009, he was an integral part of the Kevelaer municipal administration and the Kevelaer School Center.
Throughout his tenure, we have always valued Reinhold Hentemann as a conscientious and reliable colleague. His collegiality, sense of humor, and willingness to help made him a popular figure who earned the respect and affection not only of his coworkers and supervisors but also of the teachers and students at the school complex.
We mourn his passing and will always remember him with gratitude. Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends.
