The advisory campaign organized by the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer on the topic of “Energy-Efficient Building Renovation” will be taking place in the Wetten neighborhood from September 30 through November 6. It is aimed at homeowners and addresses questions about energy consumption as well as ways to save energy and money. Certified energy consultants will visit homeowners directly in their homes to provide personalized consultations. During these visits, homeowners can ask questions about their home’s energy-efficiency weaknesses and discuss potential modernization measures. Information is also available on funding opportunities for implementing recommended measures. The consultation is vendor- and product-neutral and is provided free of charge by the Climate Protection Department of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer.
The kickoff event for the Energy Caravan will take place on Wednesday, September 30, at 7:00 p.m. in the Knoase Hall in Wetten. The Energy Caravan campaign will be presented, and Dietmar Krebber, an energy consultant with the Consumer Advice Center, will offer practical tips on energy-efficient building renovations. Afterward, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the participating energy consultants in person and sign up directly for a consultation.
