Process controller
Service description
This is a free service under the Child and Youth Strengthening Act, where young people who are (potentially) entitled to integration assistance due to a (potential) disability, as well as their mothers , fathers, guardians and legal guard ians, can receive support and assistance in applying for and receiving the relevant services.
Young people with disabilities and their relatives often feel left alone in the jungle of administrative procedures and the search for possible offers of help. In the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer, there is the possibility of being advised by a procedure pilot. The procedure pilot supports and advises those entitled to benefits independently in the realization of claims to integration assistance benefits and works towards the assertion of rights.
Target group
In accordance with Section 10b Para. 1 SGB VIII, the advice and support services offered by the procedure pilot are aimed at all young people with (possible) entitlements to integration assistance in accordance with SGB IX or Section 35a SGB VIII (possibly in conjunction with Section 41 SGB VIII) and their families, as well as their legal guardians. The target group of basic addressees is broadly defined. In addition to legal guardians (parents, guardians, supplementary guardians), this can also include foster parents and all persons who have a corresponding power of attorney (e.g. caregivers in residential facilities). In the case of young adults, legal guardians can also be considered.
The advice and support provided by a procedural guide can be used both before applying for possible assistance and while assistance has already been granted or is ongoing. However, the case manager will only act at the request of the person entitled to assistance.
