As a public contracting authority, the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer is bound by a large number of legal requirements of the EU, the federal government and the state of North Rhine-Westphalia when awarding contracts. In particular, all Europe-wide procedures must be offered free of charge by electronic means (e-tendering). This requirement also extends to the area below the EU thresholds.

Electronic procurement procedure (eProcurement)

The Central Procurement Office of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer conducts its tendering procedures via the tendering platform of the German Tender Journal. The entire tender documents are made available to interested companies free of charge in digital form via the tendering platform. Electronic tenders are also submitted via the tendering platform of the German Tender Gazette.
