Extinguishing water information
Service description
In the event of a fire, it is important that sufficient water is available to extinguish it.
We, Stadtwerke Kevelaer, are responsible for basic protection. This includes fire protection for residential, commercial, mixed and industrial areas without an increased risk to property or people.The amount of extinguishing water provided is determined by the development plan procedure of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer on the basis of DVGW worksheet W 405. For all other areas that lie outside of a development plan, an assessment is made analogous to the worksheet.
For the creation of a fire protection concept, building owners and planning offices can request information on basic protection from us. Please send us the following information by e-mail:
- Applicant / recipient of the information
- Invoice address / invoice recipient
- Property/building for which the extinguishing water information is required
- Quantity of extinguishing water required
After we have processed your request, you will receive the following information from us:
- an as-built plan with the location and nominal diameter of the supply lines and the location of the hydrants
- a written assessment of the requested area
Costs
100,00 € plus VAT
If the capacity of the hydrants in the requested area is not available, measurements must be taken there. In this case, the costs will be charged on a time and material basis.
