Change of use I Building permit

The change of use requires planning permission in the same way as the construction and modification of structural facilities and other facilities and installations within the meaning of Section 1 (1) sentence 2 BauO NRW 2018, unless otherwise specified in Sections 62 to 63, 78 and 79 BauO NRW 2018. (Cf. § 60 BauO NRW 2018)

The building application for a building permit for a change of use must be accompanied by an extract from the real estate map (only for projects pursuant to Sections 34 and 35 BauBG) pursuant to Section 2 BauPrüfVO and a site plan pursuant to Section 3 BauPrüfVO. Section 3 (3) sentences 1 and 2 BauPrüfVO does not apply to the site plan. The type and scope of the change of use must be specified. If the change of use involves structural changes that require approval, construction drawings (§ 4 BauPrüfVO) as well as construction and, if applicable, operating descriptions (§ 5 BauPrüfVO) must be added to the building application.
