Zum Saisonauftakt lädt der Bäderverein Kevelaer e.V. herzlich zum Tag der offenen Tür am 15. Mai ein. An diesem besonderen Tag ist der Eintritt für alle Gäste kostenfrei. Der Bäderverein möchte damit allen Interessierten die Möglichkeit geben, das Freibad kennen- oder auch wieder kennenzulernen und gemeinsam in die neue Saison zu starten.
General information about the Kevelaer outdoor pool
Pool sizes:
- Swimmers' pool: 50.00 m x 21.00 m = 1,050 m² water surface + approx. 10.00 m x 12.00 m = 120 m² water surface in the diving area
- Non-swimmer pool: approx. 620 m² water area
- Children's pool: approx. 60 m² water surface
Water temperature:
- constant 25-26 degrees Celsius (heated outdoor pool)
Jump systems:
- a 1 m springboard
- a 3 m springboard
Slides:
- 3 slides, including 1 children's slide
Special features:
- Mud area and net swing, beach volleyball and basketball court, various play equipment for small children

Catering in the bathroom:
- Kiosk available
- Note on the kiosk: You can pay in cash or by debit or credit card at the kiosk.

Opening hours:
The ticket office closes one hour before closing time and admission is no longer possible.
The water time ends 20 minutes before the end of operation.

Additional regulation for severely disabled persons:
