    Advertising outside enclosed spaces or in public areas is considered outdoor advertising.

    If you want to advertise something outside enclosed spaces or in public areas, for example by putting up posters, this constitutes a use that goes beyond the normal use of public space (common use). This is a special use for which you must apply for a permit (special use permit). You must have the special use permit before you start advertising.

    Special information for - City of Kevelaer

    A negative impact on the cityscape due to excessive billposting is not desired in Kevelaer.

    Events are therefore primarily announced via the event board in the town center.

    Posters are special uses and require a permit. Posters may only be affixed after permission has been granted. A fee is generally charged for the granting of a special use permit.

    Wild billposting is prohibited in Kevelaer.

    Anyone who does so nevertheless is committing an offense. The offense can be punished with a fine.
