Service description
The trade register is a list kept by the municipal administrations of the tradespeople registered in the municipality who have their registered office in the respective municipality.
Public bodies, companies and private individuals can receive information about the collected business registration data upon request. The consent of the person concerned is not required for the disclosure of their data.
Business registration data:
- The name of the trader, the business address and the reported activity (basic data) can be made generally accessible.- For further information on business registration data, you must prove a legal interest - for example, to assert legal claims or to grant credit to the trader.

Trade register information can also be requested by a legal entity. In this case, responsibility is based on the registered office of the company (place of entry in the commercial register). The application must be submitted by the legal representative of the company.
