Operating costs for daycare centers

The state of North Rhine-Westphalia and the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer contribute to the costs of child day care (child day care facilities, child day care) in accordance with the Child Education Act (KiBiZ).

Financial support for child day care facilities is paid in the form of lump sums for each child admitted to a child day care facility (child lump sums). The lump sums for children are set out in the annex to the Child Education Act.
