Economic youth welfare
Service description
The tasks of youth welfare are comprehensive services and other tasks for the benefit of young people and families.
The financial and legal handling of youth welfare tasks is carried out within the Youth Welfare Office by the Economic Youth Welfare Department. This area of responsibility also includes the collection of costs from parents liable to pay contributions, the assertion of claims for compensation (e.g. against pension providers, family funds), the securing of cost reimbursement claims against other youth welfare providers, the checking and approval of one-off grants to children in care and foster children.
