Naming of the non-marital child
Service description
If the child's mother has sole custody, the child is given the mother's surname by law. If the child is to be given the father's surname, a name assignment is required, which is recorded at the registry office. This requires the consent of both parents.
If the child's parents have joint custody, a name determination is required for the first joint child. This then also applies to any further joint children.
Naming and name determination are also possible before birth.
Costs
Name assignment 30,00 €
