Depot

The maintenance depot of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer provides a wide range of services for the entire administration. The public traffic areas, the municipal buildings and the undeveloped municipal buildings are largely maintained and cleaned by the depot itself. The depot is also responsible for planting new green areas, hedges and trees on municipal land and roadside greenery.

The maintenance and upkeep of the municipal sports grounds, municipal children's playgrounds, street lighting and fountains is one of the tasks of the depot's employees.

Signage and markings as well as traffic signs and road signs must also be regularly checked, renewed and erected.
Waste disposal in all public areas and in the municipal cemeteries is also the responsibility of the depot.

The depot supports the city, the economic development agency and the tourist office, as well as other institutions and associations, in organizing events.
