Stadtwerke Kevelaer is currently renewing the bridge in Hoenselaersweg over the Issumer Fleuth in Binnenheide. The existing bridge previously had to be completely dismantled due to structural damage. Reconstruction of the new bridge is due to begin shortly. Due to the weather conditions in recent weeks and structural adjustments to the supports, work on the construction site could not be continued at times. However, the bridge is being prefabricated, which is now having a positive effect on the further construction process. Stadtwerke Kevelaer currently expects the work to be completed by the end of May.
Access from Winnekendonk to Büchelshof, Kevelaerer Landmomenten and Bauernhofcafé Binnenheide will remain possible. Stadtwerke Kevelaer would like to thank all residents and visitors for their understanding during the construction work.
