World Refill Day - Together against plastic and for fresh drinking water!

Today, June 16, is World Refill Day - an international day of action to promote less plastic and more tap water. Stadtwerke Kevelaer is also taking part!

After the short heatwave with temperatures above 30 degrees, the new week is set to remain warm and summery. Just the right time to remind people how important it is to drink enough - and how easy it is to do something for the environment and your health: If you come by with your own water bottle, you can get a free refill of tap water at the water tower at Kroatenstraße 125 - during opening hours, it's easy.

Good to know: If you want to become a refill station yourself, you don't need a special drinking water dispenser. A normal tap is all you need to take part. Stadtwerke Kevelaer provides the refill sticker free of charge and is on hand with help and advice.
