Customers of Stadtwerke Kevelaer and NiersEnergie are currently receiving their meter reading cards for their electricity and water meters. At the end of the year, we ask you to record the current meter readings and submit them by January 5, 2026 at the latest.
The online meter reading report is particularly quick and uncomplicated:
NiersEnergie electricity customers can enter their meter reading at

Water customers of Stadtwerke Kevelaer report the status of the main meter - and, if available, the garden meter - at
👉 stadtwerke-kevelaer.de/ablesung.
Alternatively, it is also possible to send the meter reading by e-mail or by traditional meter reading card.
Please make sure that the meter number on the meter reading card matches the number on the meter so that the meter reading can be assigned correctly.
If no meter reading is received by the specified date, consumption is estimated on the basis of the previous year's values. The annual bill can only be prepared correctly with an up-to-date reading.
