CITY CYCLING 2025 in Kevelaer

Once again this year, it's time to get on your bike - for more climate protection and a healthy future! From May 26 to June 15, 2025, the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer is taking part in the Germany-wide CITY CYCLING campaign together with all 16 municipalities in the Kleve district.

Under the motto "Be smart - get on your bike - together for a healthy future", every kilometer counts during these three weeks: the way to work, to school, to the shops or to the ice cream parlor - every distance counts!

Last year, 318 cyclists from Kevelaer covered an impressive 71,665 kilometers - and saved around 12 tons of CO₂ in the process. Can we do even more in 2025? Join in and help us break the record!

Who can take part?

Anyone who lives, works, goes to school or belongs to a club in Kevelaer can take part. And the best thing is: the kilometers also count if you are on vacation or abroad!

It's as simple as that:

  1. Register at: www.stadtradeln.de/kevelaer
  2. Create a team or join an existing team
  3. Enter kilometers: online or via the CITY CYCLING app
  4. Alternatively: paper registration possible at the town hall with mobility manager Heinz-Theo Angenvoort

A print template for manual entry will be available on the website in good time - or can be collected directly from the town hall.

School cycling NRW - Register now!

The popular School Cycling NRW is also part of the campaign again! Pupils, teachers and parents can take part - simply tick the "School cycling" box when registering.

You can find more information at: www.stadtradeln.de/schulradeln-nrw

Join in and set an example!

Whether you are a frequent or occasional cyclist - every kilometer counts. Let's cycle together for a sustainable future. We look forward to your participation!
